FRP/GRP Chimney, Ducts & Tower
|
FRP/GRP Chimney has been widely used in wet desulphurization structure and all-day device equipment. The structure could be contrete or steel covered FRP. It’ s mainly used as the inner cylinder of concrete chimney ( discharge flue gas of 100m-240m). This structure fully takes advantage of the high-temperature resistance and corrosion-resistance properties of FRP, supported by the concrete chimney. According to the design requirements of users, may need to instal one or several FRP inner cylinders to the concrete chimney. This structureusually adopts the segmental wall mounted type for installation. The support system is formed by burying steel structures in the concrete chimney, which usually is 30-50m long each segment. Connect two segments with an expansion joint and design a guide support per 15 meter. The basic principle of Integrated chimney and cooling tower is lifting the desulfurized wet flue gas by using the large amount of heat and hot air in the cooling tower, so as to lift the gas mixture into the air tens of meters to one hundred meter above the cooling tower and improve the ground environment. This technology is achieved mainly by using FRP horizon flue duct. It is corrosion resistant with large diameter and light weight. Steel Structure- Covered FRP ChimneyThe steel structure-covered FRP chimney is designed to be lower than 100m and usually combines with the desulfurizing tower, with the chimney directly being installed on the exit of desulfurizing tower. This type of chimney does not require to be built in segment. The chimney weight can be directlytransferred to the desulfurizing tower or the steel bracket. However, if the chimney weight is transferred to the steel bracket, the chimney must be segmented and connect two segments with an expansion joint.
